I haven't been here.  Almost not at all, for almost two months. There was a flurry activity a few weeks ago when I posted a drabble and some pictures.  Two of them I am actually pretty proud of.   Still, I have not looked much at any of your art or replied to things. Tomorrow I am moving.  When I get internet again I should be around more.  It is really a problem of the commute time and the way this house is. You guys may have noticed a certain lack of my presence.  I have just started a new job.  It is the kind of job that requires one to wear business dress and heeled shoes, commute to downtown every day and not be on the internet. Or...at least not on sites of my choosing.  Right now I have a long commute so I will not be around much, but I still am working on word prompts and I even drew a single picture this month. I am going to try some word prompts this week to get myself back on track with writing.   This is not a new idea, it has gone around circles I travel in on LJ time and again.  Most recently I am sure you have all seen it over with `doughboycafe (https://www.deviantart.com/doughboycafe) The concept is that you give me a character name and a word.  (Like: Dimitri -  earring    or  Fisher -  Shoplifting)   A phrase is also acceptable (Such as Arisa - Man twice her age who needs to shave)   I will then write a short bit of fiction about the character using the word as inspiration.   I will be writing characters in the cast of my swashbuckler novel and the two or three Great War cha
