Description

blast from the past remember this pic: ? No? It was my featured deviation for about a million years.

The characters pictured both there and here are Brier, who is an important character in the pirate novel, and Thaniel...who is a character from my friend's D&D game. Through the wonder of AU rp, he saved her life and they started dating.

In the picture above, Thaniel has found Brier bleeding to death on the floor. It was, in fact, the first time he met her but he still picked her up and held her close and told her comforting things, with the intention of comforting her until she died.

Thankfully more AU shenanigans involving a healer caused her NOT to die. but that's another story....

for obvious reasons, Thaniel made a very good first impression.

This is the bloodless PG version. Bloody version here: [link]

I am retroactively naming this #70 of the 100 themes challenge? Why? that is the percentage dead Brier is in this picture :P

Painted in watercolors with milk, Brier belongs to me, Thaniel to my friend, M.C.

The pose did come out very well! And the soft shades created by the milk are lovely. I still think you're brave for trying it! (I usually try to keep my beverages away from my paintings!)

Love the platinum shade of Brier's hair. And Thaniel's expression is lovely. Brier's body language is excellently portrayed - though without the blood it's hard to tell if she's in pain or perhaps just extremely distraught. I guess it comes down to about the same body language either way.
